What is a Polyurethane Flake System?
A polyurethane flake system is a high-performance industrial flooring solution that combines the durability of polyurethane resin with decorative flake finishes. Applied either as a polyurethane screed or a self-levelling coating, this system is designed to deliver both robust performance and visual appeal. Once the base layer is applied, coloured flakes are broadcast onto the surface, adding texture, slip resistance, and an attractive finish.
The system is ideal for environments that require hygienic, hard-wearing floors but don’t want to compromise on appearance. Because of its seamless, non-porous nature, it’s especially suitable for areas with stringent hygiene requirements or those exposed to high traffic and regular cleaning.
